How to access your GP Practice
The way you access your GP is changing to ensure you get the best possible care safely and quickly. We only want people to attend the practice when they need to, in order to keep you and our staff safe from Coronavirus. This video explains how you can contact your GP practice and the different ways care will be delivered to keep you safe. Your general practice is here for you.
****MESSAGE FROM NHS ENGLAND****
A supplier to the NHS has advised us of a global shortage of some equipment used for taking blood tests.
Anyone who needs a test for urgent health problems will still get one, but where your clinician recommends that it’s safe to do so, then you may be asked to come back for a test at a later date, or your appointment may be rescheduled.
Given the nature of the shortage, we cannot give an exact date for when the test will be rescheduled, but please be assured that if your condition or symptoms require it, then you will get a test, and we will be re-booking your test when supplies become more easily available.
If your condition or symptoms change or get worse, please contact the NHS as you would normally.

Welcome to Dukinfield Medical Practice Website
Dukinfield Medical Practice came into being during July 2016 when the Davaar Medical Centre joined up with the Hollies Medical Practice following the retirement of Dr J Procter.
We are one Practice, but still operate from two sites in Concord Way and on Birch Lane. The former site is where most of the GP consultations take place and the latter is where most of our nursing staff are based.
New Online Consult Service
The doctors may well decide that an immediate consultation is not required and may firstly refer you to another NHS service.
The online consult system can be accessed via the green coloured tile on this page.
Your GP practice will aim to respond to your query within 2 working days.
If your query is not submitted, no details will be sent to your GP.
You must be over 16 to use this service, although you may use this service to contact the practice about a person you care for who is under 16.
You must be registered as a patient with Dukinfield Medical Practice.
You must currently be living in the UK.
