Our Health Walk started in September 2022 and one year on we have found

that we have been getting an average of eight walkers per week.
We met each week except Christmas week and as well as the
regular health walk we have had two trips on the canal boat Community
Spirit 2. First we had a short trip from Portland Basin to Hyde and on our
second venture we went along the Peak Forest Canal to Marple Aqueduct,
and this one took the whole day

Boat Trip
On the boat we had a sing-a-long with David taking the lead, as well as a game of Bingo and a Quiz, just for fun.
One week we had a walk over to the allotment, off Lodge Lane, to see what is going on there.
Of course, our main focus is the Health Walk each week around Dukinfield Park accompanied by the many tame squirrels to be found there. Along the way, we have a chat and pass on the interesting things that have gone on in our lives from the previous week.
